Job summary

Almac Group in Craigavon, Northern Ireland is seeking a Commercial Product Procurement Specialist to join our Clinical Services unit. This office-based role is 37.5 hours per week, with a six-month on-site commitment before hybrid working is possible.

You will source destination-appropriate commercial drug products for clinical trials worldwide, develop sourcing strategies, select suppliers and maximise drug availability while delivering value for patients and the organisation.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the UK without restrictions or hold a valid work permit enabling full-time employment in the UK.
• HNC/HND level qualification (or equivalent) or significant relevant experience in a pharmaceutical role.
• Procurement experience within a Manufacturing/Production environment is essential.

Responsibilities

• Source destination-appropriate commercial drug products for clinical trials around the world.
• Develop effective sourcing strategies and select the right suppliers.
• Maximise drug availability and deliver best possible overall value.
• Build trusted relationships with suppliers, internal teams and external clients.
