Job summary

Almac Group in Craigavon offers a 12-month industrial placement in the Project Services team. The role supports delivery of customer projects, assisting Leads and Managers in daily management while providing growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding organisation.

Ideal candidates are 2nd-year students in Business, Engineering or Sciences, eligible to work in the UK, and available for Summer 2027 start. Core hours are 10:00–16:00, Monday–Friday, for 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the UK or hold a valid UK work permit.
• Educated to A-level standard (or equivalent).
• Currently studying a Business, Engineering or Sciences degree and have completed second year by Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Support coordination of all aspects of delivery of customer projects.
• Assist Project Production or Distribution Leads and/or Clinical Supplies Managers in day-to-day management.
• Benefit from development opportunities within the Almac group.
• Work as part of the Project Services team at Craigavon HQ.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for students currently working towards a Business or Sciences degree seeking a year's industrial placement for the academic year 2027-2028.

Working as part of the Project Services team based in our global headquarters in Craigavon, you will assist in the coordination of all aspects of the delivery of customer projects. You will provide a supportive role to Project Production or Distribution Leads and/or Clinical Supplies Managers in the day‑to‑day management of Almac Clinical Services Customers.

As part of a busy team within a rapidly growing organisation, operating within a challenging industry you will benefit from the numerous personal and professional developmental opportunities available throughout the Almac group.

• Have eligibility to work in the UK OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full time employment in the UK
• Educated to A-level standard (or equivalent)
• Currently studying a Business, Engineering or Sciences based Degree qualification and have completed second year of your degree before commencing placement in Summer 2027

Working Pattern

You will work on a flexible work pattern which means your core hours will be 10.00 – 16.00, Monday – Friday based on 37.5 hours per week.
