Job summary

National Gas is seeking a Procurement Operations Analyst to drive the day-to-day procurement operations. You will support colleagues, manage supplier onboarding, maintain systems and deliver insightful reporting to help the business buy efficiently and compliantly.

This is a hybrid role with a Warwick office, requiring a hands-on approach and stakeholder collaboration. You’ll work across SAP Ariba, Coupa, Power BI and Excel, producing dashboards and MI, while ensuring policies are followed and

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement or supply chain operations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and generate insights.
• Proven experience using MS Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the first point of contact for procurement-related queries through the Procurement Helpdesk.
• Coordinating the end-to-end supplier onboarding process and carrying out supplier assurance checks.
• Supporting colleagues with procurement systems, processes and purchasing-related queries.
• Administering procurement platforms including SAP Ariba and Coupa, managing users, permissions and system-related requests.
• Producing planned and ad hoc reports, dashboards and data analysis to support procurement activities.
• Maintaining buying channels, catalogs and procurement guidance to ensure information is accurate and accessible.
