Greystar is seeking a Procurement Manager to drive strategic sourcing across the UK & I portfolio, partnering with onsite teams to deliver commercial and service benefits. The Procurement Manager will take a proactive role in benefits identification – utilizing business and market knowledge to build a pipeline of procurement activity that will deliver commercial and service benefits to operational teams in UK&I. The role will help to ensure the effective operation of existing properties and support procurement activity for new development openings, property acquisitions and disposals. The Procurement Manager will act as a business partner to onsite teams at an assigned set of properties within the UK&I portfolio. The Procurement Manager will own and deliver a set of agreed strategic sourcing initiatives and provide guidance / support tactical sourcing & contracting activity delivered by the operational teams. The Procurement Manager will build and maintain a list of Preferred Suppliers for the UK and Ireland. As required the Procurement Manager will support corporate sourcing activity (indirect spend categories). The Procurement Manager will work closely with the European Category Director to support European-wide strategic sourcing activity – defining market-specific requirements and engaging local stakeholders. They will consult with the European Category Director to ensure that market-specific sourcing activity is aligned with the relevant Category Strategy. The Procurement Manager will work closely with the other Procurement Managers in the UK&I to ensure that sourcing activity is aligned (there is no duplication of sourcing activity) and spend is being effectively leveraged across all portfolios in UK&I.
