Job summary
Quorn Foods is seeking a Procurement Manager for Direct Procurement on a fixed-term contract, based primarily at our Leeds (LS15) site with regular travel to other sites and suppliers. You will shape category strategies, lead supplier negotiations and ensure supply resilience across UK and Europe.
You will work with Technical, NPD, Finance and Master Data teams to support launches, manage pricing routes and maintain commercial records in SAP.
Qualifications
- Proven commercial background within food manufacturing or FMCG
- Experience developing and executing category and sourcing strategies
- Track record of delivering savings, cost improvements and supplier value creation
- Excellent negotiation and contract-management capability
- Strong data and market intelligence usage to inform decisions
- Stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver category and sourcing strategies balancing cost, quality, service, sustainability and supply resilience
- Lead supplier negotiations, tenders, contracts and SLAs; manage total cost and risks
- Collaborate with Technical, NPD, Materials Planning, Operations and Finance to support launches and pricing
- Maintain accurate commercial records in SAP and resolve data or invoicing issues
- Contribute to Direct Procurement priorities and ensure raw materials availability
- Travel to Quorn sites and supplier locations as required
