Job summary

Elix Sourcing Solutions in Bristol is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead a small purchasing team in a hybrid, flexible working environment. The role offers a salary of £65,000–£70,000 per year with a 10% bonus and a 5% employer-matched pension, plus a 40-hour week Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will design and embed a modern procurement function, drive supplier relationships, negotiate contracts and seek cost savings while ensuring reliable supply for engineering and manufacturing

Qualifications

• Holds a CIPS or recognised equivalent supply chain qualification.
• Procurement Management experience in Manufacturing or Engineering.
• Lives a commutable distance from Bristol.

Responsibilities

• Design, establish and embed a modern procurement function.
• Manage 2 buyers and 1 purchasing administrator.
• Develop supplier relationships, negotiate contracts and drive cost savings whilst ensuring reliable supply.
• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to source suppliers for new products.
