Job summary

ARCA Consulting Ltd. is seeking a Buyer to join its procurement team in the Bristol area on a permanent hybrid basis. The role focuses on sourcing materials, supplier negotiation, and managing procurement processes to support engineering and production projects.

The ideal candidate has proven Buyer experience in engineering/manufacturing, strong negotiation skills, and solid ERP/MRP and MS Office proficiency. Hybrid work is preferred, with onsite collaboration three days per week.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and reliability.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with objectives.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing to optimize supply chain costs.
• Monitor supplier performance for quality and delivery standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet material needs.
• Manage purchase orders, invoices, and delivery schedules.
• Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends.
• Address supply chain challenges to minimize disruptions.
