Job summary

The Studio in London is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join on a 6-month fixed-term freelance basis. You will manage procurement across FF&E, furniture, finishes and bespoke interior elements, coordinating with the interior design team to balance quality, budget and programme.

Based in Central London, the role offers a hybrid pattern (2–3 days in the office). You will lead supplier liaison, obtain quotations and tender comparisons, issue purchase orders, track budgets and lead times, and

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in procurement or FF&E coordination within interior architecture, hospitality, high-end residential or similar design-led environments.
• Experience with budgeting, cost tracking, PO creation and supplier coordination.
• Ability to read technical drawings and FF&E schedules.
• Well organized, detail-driven, and able to work with designers, suppliers and site teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement across FF&E, furniture, finishes and bespoke interior elements, coordinating supplier liaison, quotations and tender comparisons.
• Create and manage purchase orders, track budgets and lead times, and coordinate logistics and delivery through to installation.
• Ensure procurement moves smoothly while maintaining control of quality, budget and programme.

A privately backed, design-led hospitality business developing a high-end luxury offering in the UK. The experienced in-house team works across interior architecture, design and delivery, with a strong emphasis on quality, craftsmanship and detail.

The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join the team on an 6-month fixed-term / freelance basis.

Based in Central London, they operate a hybrid setup with 2-3 days per week in the office and the remainder working from home.

Working closely with the interior architecture and design team, you will manage procurement across FF&E, furniture, finishes and bespoke interior elements. Responsibilities will include supplier liaison, quotations and tender comparisons, purchase orders, budget tracking, lead times, logistics and delivery coordination through to installation.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can keep procurement moving while maintaining control of quality, budget and programme.

The Candidate

• 2+ years' experience in procurement or FF&E coordination within interior architecture, hospitality, high-end residential or similar design-led environments
• Strong experience across budgeting, cost tracking, purchase orders and supplier coordination
• Good understanding of FF&E, furniture, finishes, lead times, logistics and delivery coordination
• Able to read technical drawings and FF&E schedules
• Highly organised, detail-driven and confident working with designers, suppliers and site teams
• Experience with procurement or project management platforms; Programa or estimac would be advantageous
