Job summary

An established Birmingham-based built environment consultancy is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead procurement from planning through contract award. The role combines office collaboration with home working in a hybrid arrangement, requiring 1–2 days per week in the Birmingham office and stakeholder engagement across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering public sector procurement exercises and contract awards.
• Knowledge of Procurement Act 2023.
• Experience using framework agreements and other compliant routes to market.
• Experience preparing procurement, tender and contract documentation.
• A recognised procurement qualification such as MCIPS or equivalent.
• Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Construction, built environment or infrastructure procurement experience beneficial.
