Job summary

Murphy is recruiting for a Procurement Manager to work with Energy on GGP out of Kentish Town with travel to sites. You will lead procurement strategy and supply chain management across multi-disciplinary projects, including subcontract and material procurement, expediting, and supplier relationship management.

The role reports to the Head of Procurement and requires MCIPS or equivalent and experience in technical procurement.

Qualifications

• MCIPS or similar qualification.
• Experience in a technical procurement environment.
• Experience with subcontract procurement.
• Experience in project-based construction/engineering procurement or commercial roles.
• Knowledge of Substation or Linear Underground Cabling works preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategy and supply chain plans.
• Oversee supply chain management and supplier relationships.
• Procure key materials and subcontract packages for projects.
• Source and procure mechanical and electrical equipment for multi-disciplinary teams.
• Report to Head of Procurement and support unit-level procurement.
