Senior Procurement Manager - Engineering & CAPEX
Location: Milton Keynes, 2 days a week in office
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000

We’re working with a leading UK organization to recruit a Senior Procurement Manager who will drive value through procurement, optimizing supplier spend and delivering sustainable improvements in cost, quality, service, and innovation.
What’s on offer?
Strategic Procurement Leadership: Manage procurement for 5 PFI contracts across the UK, with a primary focus on Capex & Life Cycle.
Category Management Expertise: Develop and implement 1, 3, and 5-year category strategies based on spend analysis and business needs.
Supplier & Contract Negotiation: Lead end-to-end contract negotiations, ensuring suppliers meet continuous improvement and productivity targets.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Operations, and Legal teams to align procurement activities with business objectives.
Tendering & Risk Management: Oversee procurement tendering activities, manage supplier relationships, and mitigate risks in sourcing projects.
The Ideal Candidate:
️ 4-5 years’ experience in procurement, ideally within an engineering-focused business.
️ Strong expertise in NEC contracts and NEC sourcing.
️ Proven ability to negotiate contracts from start to finish directly with suppliers.
️ Experience managing full tender processes and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives.
️ Ability to work collaboratively across departments and drive cost-saving strategies.
️ Flexibility to travel across UK sites weekly.
