Job summary

TalentPool partners with a leading UK QSR brand to appoint a commercially strong procurement professional with a passion for NPD, menu innovation and product development. You will manage key food and packaging categories, lead supplier negotiations and collaborate with NPD, Marketing and Technical teams to ensure new menu items are viable, deliverable and launched across multiple markets.

Qualifications

• Procurement experience in QSR, hospitality or food manufacturing.
• Experience supporting NPD, menu launches or new product introductions.
• Strong food category management, sourcing and negotiation skills.
• Experience developing and managing food suppliers and manufacturers.
• International or European procurement experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

The Role

This is first and foremost aprocurement role, suited to a commercially strong procurement professional who also has a real passion for NPD, menu innovation and product development.

You'll manage key food and packaging categories, develop supplier relationships and lead commercial negotiations, while playing a central role in bringing new menu items from concept through to launch. Working across Procurement, Marketing and Technical, you'll help ensure new products are commercially viable, operationally achievable and successfully delivered across multiple markets.

Responsibilities include

• Managing procurement and category strategy across key food, packaging and equipment categories
• Leading supplier sourcing, commercial negotiations and ongoing supplier relationships
• Working closely with NPD teams and suppliers to develop and launch new menu products
• Managing the commercialisation of new products from concept, trials and costing through to launch
• Developing longer-term sourcing strategies to support growth, innovation and supply continuity
• Identifying new suppliers, ingredients and food trends that can support the future menu pipeline.

Required Experience

• Strong procurement experience within QSR, hospitality or food manufacturing
• Experience supporting NPD projects, menu launches or new product introductions
• Strong food category management, sourcing and commercial negotiation skills
• Experience developing and managing food suppliers and manufacturers
• International or European procurement experience would be advantageous
