Job summary

Morris & Spottiswood is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead the group’s procurement and supply chain strategy from a hybrid UK base, with offices in Glasgow or Warrington. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on supplier management and timely, value-driven cost control.

You will drive supplier strategies, KPI reporting, and continuous improvement while collaborating with senior stakeholders across the business.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior procurement or supply chain management role.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills with experience managing high-value supplier agreements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate teams.
• Experience working with KPIs, performance reporting, and continuous improvement.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience operating within a Group or multi-stakeholder environment.
• Knowledge of sustainable and ethical procurement practices.
• Membership of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Ensure strong performance through SLAs, KPIs, and regular reviews, while taking corrective action where required.
• Provide commercial and financial leadership, overseeing negotiations, tenders, and contract reviews to achieve savings, rebates, and robust cost controls.
• Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and senior leaders, act as a trusted advisor, and represent the business externally.
• Lead and develop the procurement team, fostering an inclusive, high‑performing culture across the supply chain

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Managerto join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role can be based at either our Glasgow or Warrington Office, however we also offer a flexible Hybrid working model.
