VisitScotland is seeking a Procurement Manager for a 6-month fixed-term contract to enhance its procurement capabilities. The role involves maximizing savings, improving processes, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective procurement practices in the public sector.
We are pleased to advertise for a Procurement Manager on an initial 6-month Fixed Term contract to join our busy team. Please note, due to contract length, we can only accept candidates with no more than a 4-week notice period and who have public sector experience.

We are looking to appoint a Procurement Manager on an initial 6-month basis, with the potential to extend.
The Procurement Department aims to maximize savings and benefits, improve capability, and make sustainable procurement Business as Usual for the goods and services we need. The team supports our Corporate Plan through efficient procurement, developing collaborative partnerships, and meeting statutory obligations.
The post holder will report to the Head of Procurement for daily activities and development. The Procurement Manager will collaborate with internal colleagues and external organizations to deliver a customer-focused approach to continuous improvement, encouraging all team members to meet organizational needs. Occasional guidance will be provided by the Director of Corporate Services.

Contract Type: 6-month FTC (potential to extend)
Salary Grade: Grade H (£47,095 - £53,647)

This role is ideally based out of our Glasgow or Edinburgh office, but other locations will be considered. VisitScotland operates a hybrid working culture, combining office and home-based work.
