Job summary

Arguile is hiring its first Procurement Lead to build and shape the function from scratch. You will work directly with senior stakeholders across Legal, Commercial, Finance, IT and Operations to set up processes, governance and a procurement strategy that defines how the business buys.

You will lead end-to-end sourcing, negotiate terms, and drive cost savings while embedding strong procurement practice across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Procurement Manager, Procurement Lead or in Strategic Sourcing.
• Track record of setting up procurement processes, governance or operating models.
• Strong end-to-end procurement and supplier negotiation skills.
• Good commercial and contract management knowledge.
• Experience in spend analysis and supplier management.
• Proactive and self-sufficient, comfortable working autonomously.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and leading the procurement function, including processes, policies and governance frameworks.
• Reviewing the current supplier base, contracts and spend.
• Building a procurement strategy and a 12-36 month roadmap.
• Leading end-to-end sourcing, including RFIs, RFQs, RFPs and tenders.
• Negotiating commercial terms and supporting contract negotiations with Legal and Commercial.
• Finding savings through supplier consolidation, cost optimisation and better commercial value.
• Building relationships across the business and embedding good procurement practice.
