Job summary

Arguile is seeking a Procurement Lead to establish and grow its procurement function, partnering with senior stakeholders across Legal, Commercial, Finance, IT and Operations. You will introduce procurement processes, governance and a long-term strategy, taking ownership and delivering measurable value.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will lead sourcing activities, manage supplier negotiations and drive cost optimisations while embedding best practice across the organisation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the procurement function with processes, policies and governance.
• Review supplier base, contracts and organisational spend.
• Develop and implement a 12–36 month procurement roadmap.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing: RFIs, RFQs, RFPs and tender processes.
• Negotiate terms and support contract negotiations with Legal/Commercial teams.
• Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation and cost optimisation.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and embed procurement best practice.

Procurement Lead | £70,000–£80,000 | Fully Remote

I'm working with a growing technology business looking to appoint a Procurement Lead to establish and develop its procurement function.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced procurement professional who enjoys building things from the ground up, taking ownership and having a genuine impact on how a business operates.

The role will involve working closely with senior stakeholders across Legal, Commercial, Finance, IT and Operations to introduce procurement processes, establish governance frameworks and develop a longer-term procurement strategy.

Key responsibilities:

• Establish and lead the procurement function, developing processes, policies and governance frameworks.
• Review the existing supplier base, contracts and organisational spend.
• Develop and implement a procurement strategy and 12–36 month roadmap.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including RFIs, RFQs, RFPs and tender processes.
• Negotiate commercial terms and support contract negotiations alongside Legal and Commercial teams.
• Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation, cost optimisation and improved commercial value.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across the business and embed procurement best practice.

• Experience in a Procurement Manager, Procurement Lead or Strategic Sourcing position.
• Experience establishing procurement processes, governance and operating models.
• Strong end-to-end procurement and supplier negotiation experience.
• Good commercial and contract management knowledge.
• Experience with spend analysis and supplier management.
• A proactive, self-sufficient individual who is comfortable working autonomously.
• Someone who can balance strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery.
