Anakin Seal Legal Recruitment is recruiting an Associate or Senior Associate for a nationally recognised Health Commercial & Procurement team. The role involves working on procurement, regulatory and commercial matters for NHS bodies, private healthcare operators and health technology clients.

The successful candidate will join a growing team with significant client exposure and opportunities to handle high-profile projects across health and life sciences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience advising on commercial and procurement matters.
• Knowledge of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, Procurement Act 2023 and/or Provider Selection Regime.
• Experience drafting and negotiating a range of commercial agreements including framework agreements, bespoke contracts, licensing and data protection docs.
• Excellent technical, organisational and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Collaborative approach with colleagues and clients, and business development interest.

Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate or Senior Associate to join a nationally recognised Health Commercial & Procurement team. This is an excellent chance to become part of a highly regarded practice that advises NHS organisations, independent healthcare providers, health technology businesses and regulatory bodies on a wide range of complex commercial, procurement and regulatory matters.

The successful candidate will join a growing and collaborative team with a strong reputation in the healthcare sector. The role offers significant client exposure, responsibility from the outset and the opportunity to work on high-profile projects across the health and life sciences market.

Work will include advising on procurement processes, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, supporting innovative healthcare delivery models and providing strategic regulatory advice to a diverse client base.

Candidate Profile / Experience Needed

• Proven experience advising on commercial and procurement matters.
• Knowledge of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, Procurement Act 2023 and/or Provider Selection Regime, although candidates with transferable procurement experience will also be considered.
• Experience drafting and negotiating a range of commercial agreements including framework agreements, bespoke contracts, licensing arrangements and data protection documentation.
• Excellent technical, organisational and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and clients.
• A commercial mindset with an interest in developing client relationships and supporting business development initiatives.

Experience gained within the health sector would be advantageous but is not essential. Candidates from either private practice or in-house backgrounds will be considered.
