Job summary

Leonardo Helicopters, Yeovil site, seeks a Procurement Account Manager to support a global high-tech organisation that designs, manufactures, and supports state-of-the-art helicopters from Yeovil. The role is hybrid with 2/3 days on site, and you will lead IPT procurement activities while delivering on budget, lead time and quality targets.

You will report monthly progress, engage stakeholders at all levels, manage a high workload, and develop cross-functional relationships while manipulating

• Knowledge of the procurement process and integrated project teams.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to challenge and build relations.
• Ability to manage a high workload in a pressured environment.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to cross-functional roles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assurances on budget, lead time and quality for procurement activities.
• Set up mechanisms to report progress on a monthly basis.
• Act as IPT lead between buyers, programmes and other functions.
• Own one or more customer projects from inception to completion.
• Manage programme elements and manipulate data to produce reports.
• Interface between purchasing and other parts of the company; on-site preferred.
