Job summary

Coveris Gainsborough is seeking a Purchasing Controller (Indirect) to support daily procurement operations across the site. You will handle purchasing administration, supplier management, data analysis, and stakeholder collaboration to drive efficiency and cost savings.

The successful candidate will build strong supplier relationships, monitor lead times, and contribute to procurement reporting for Gainsborough and Burnley sites.

Responsibilities

• Raise, amend, close and manage purchase orders in line with procedures.
• Coordinate service orders and support subcontracting activities across Coveris sites.
• Manage supplier deliveries and communicate delays to stakeholders.
• Monitor supplier lead times and maintain relationships.
• Liaise with transport providers and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Process supplier invoices, statements and GRNI reports and resolve queries.
• Produce procurement reports and performance data for Gainsborough and Burnley sites.
• Support supplier performance management through data gathering and scorecards.
• Maintain EOMS supplier records and site contracts with compliant pricing.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet purchasing requirements and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure processes are followed.
