Job summary

NES Group Ltd is seeking an Indirect Buyer to join its Procurement team in Teesside. You’ll manage a range of indirect spend, including MRO, maintenance, engineering services, facilities and professional services.

You will work with suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver commercial value, negotiate pricing and contracts, and identify cost-saving opportunities. This permanent, on-site role suits someone with 3+ years in procurement and a strong supplier-management background.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a Buyer, Procurement or Purchasing role.
• Experience working across indirect procurement categories.
• Experience in manufacturing/engineering/industrial environments preferred.
• Strong supplier management, sourcing, tendering and negotiation.
• Commercial awareness with ability to assess cost, quality, service and value.
• Confident dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholders at different levels.
• Strong organisation and time-management with multiple priorities.
• Good analytical skills and confidence with procurement data and Excel.
• Experience using procurement/ERP systems.
• CIPS qualification or working towards one advantageous but not essential.

You’ll manage a range of indirect spend, including MRO, maintenance, engineering services, facilities and professional services, working with suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver commercial value.

Experience & Qualifications
