Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a legal or procurement role.
• Strong contract negotiation skills.
• Customer oriented, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Analytical and rigorous, able to break-down and explain complex topics to a variety of stakeholders.
• Pragmatic, able to balance contractual and business risks, priorities, oversights and compliance.
• Keen interest in contracts with experience of both contract drafting and contract negotiation.
• Fluent in English, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide contractual expertise to buyers and commodity management during procurement negotiations.
• Support CFTs by approving contractual baseline and assessing bids.
• Define contractual strategy and sourcing models for Airbus projects.
• Advise internal stakeholders on contractual implications of supplier initiatives.
• Draft ad hoc contractual documents with buyers and management.
• Approve documentation prior to signature (e.g., CVF).
• Provide contractual analysis during the contract life cycle and handle disputes.
• Clarify contractual issues for claims and pre-litigation.
• Ensure documents comply with laws and Airbus requirements.
• Identify key contractual risks with stakeholders.
• Develop or enhance training modules with Procurement.
