Job summary

MI5’s Procurement Support Officer in the Commercial function ensures timely, cost-efficient procurement of goods and services. You’ll handle bids, take minutes, coordinate supplier events and manage ITT documentation, supporting compliance and data integrity across the function.

You’ll work within the Commercial team, interacting with customer-facing and category teams, aiding compliance, risk management and supplier onboarding while developing in a structured, security-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at A*-C, 9-4 (or equivalent) or demonstrable administrative experience.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Collaborative working style with effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process bids, minute-taking and tender moderation documentation.
• Coordinate supplier events, sessions and ITT documentation and track delivery timelines.
• Produce and review management information and data reports with risk registers.
• Review contracts against policies and support onboarding of new suppliers.
• Help maintain transparency and compliance in purchasing decisions and documentation.
