Job summary

Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service is seeking a talented Category Manager to join the Procurement team. You will manage a portfolio of goods and services including personal protective equipment, operational equipment, works projects and training services as part of an extensive asset refresh programme.

Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will navigate tight timeframes with autonomy, demonstrate a CIPS Diploma level qualification, be a self-starter, and uphold our values of courage, integrity

Qualifications

• CIPS Diploma level or higher required.
• Self-starter who requires minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate courage, integrity and compassion in line with our values.
