Job summary

Talent Drive | B Corp™ in the UK seeks three Category Managers for Corporate Services to lead strategic spend and supplier relationships. You will craft category strategies, align contracts, and drive cost efficiencies while engaging senior stakeholders up to Board level.

Role focuses on generalist Corporate Services with potential M&A experience, with a hybrid work model and Milton Keynes office three days per week.

Category Manager - Corporate Services (x3) | £55,000 to £86,000 | Discretionary Bonus | 30 days holiday | Private Healthcare | + many more benefits | Office locations: Milton Keynes (3 days a week) | A well know UK professional Services firm

Three brand new roles working for a well known Professional Services who are growing their team following a large transformation, to manage their spend strategically, aligning contracts to ensure there is a solid and robust supply chain.

You will have access and build close working relationships with the the C-Suite, developing robust category strategies, utilising the best suppliers which give the company the best service for the company, that will follow to ensure cost efficiencies are met.

Role and responsibilities:

• Create a category strategy through to the delivery and performance including year on year annualised savings
• Develop group wide category plans and strategies to ensure alignment for the group
• Support the development of global category strategies to a clear and prioritised pipeline of sourcing projects
• Engage, manage and influence senior stakeholders from Director to Board level to ensure buy-in, utilising strong market knowledge
• Build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a rounded knowledge of a suppliers performance
• Monitor supplier risk and performance through reporting tools and business feedback
• Be a Procurement role model by living company values, consistently delivering to the high standards expected, promoting procurement through relationships
• On top over delivering strategic projects, ensure the business is getting the best service in line with cost efficiency

Experience and requirements:

• Technical SME experience in Generalist Corporate Services categories
• Financial or Professional Services industry experience preferred, having working in a regulated environment
• Worked in a complex business and knowledge/understanding of complications and approach following M&A
• Previous experience working on complex global projects, dealing with Tier 1 suppliers of significant values
• Confident in engaging and influencing senior level stakeholders, and across various regions
• A highly strategic mindset when approaching procurement, suppliers and business needs
• Will have a track record of extensive category management, effecting change and continuous improvement through implementation of innovative category strategies
• Excellent communications skills when dealing with contacts in different cultures and countries
• Able to adapt in a very fast paced, continuously changing environment
• MCIPS qualified, nice to have but not essential
