Consortium Professionals Recruitment are working on behalf of our prestigious client to find a talented Procurement Category Coordinator to help solve global supply chain challenges and support commercial decision-making across vital categories.

The Opportunity

• Interpreting market intelligence, trends and cost indices to support fact‑based negotiation and strategy.
• Maintaining up‑to‑date master data across spend, supplier and category information.
• Supporting category managers by providing actionable insights using standardised tools and templates.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders and assisting with sourcing decisions.
• Creating and managing purchase orders in line with agreed service levels.
• Contributing directly to enabling strategic procurement decisions and improving supplier performance visibility.

About You

• Confidence working with data tools, with training provided on platforms like Kodiak, TeamCenter and SAP.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with an eye for detail and trends.
• Excellent prioritisation and time management with the ability to work across varied tasks.
• A collaborative and positive mindset, contributing to team success within Procurement.
• Knowledge of procurement or supply chain operations would be beneficial but is not essential.
