The Edinburgh Grand is part of RBH Hospitality Management, located in Edinburgh's New Town. We are hiring a Back of House Manager to oversee day-to-day BOH operations and ensure top standards of storage, stock control and cleanliness.

You will lead a team, coordinate with kitchen and other departments, maintain stock records, monitor inventory and promote sustainable practices to support a premium guest experience.

Formación

• Experience in back of house, goods receiving, stock control or operations is preferred.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Attention to detail and methodical stock control and record keeping.
• Good understanding of health & safety, food hygiene and waste management.
• Ability to lead, motivate and support a team across departments.
• Effective communication across roles and suppliers.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of all back of house areas, ensuring goods receiving, storage facilities, cellars and waste areas are organised, efficient and maintained to exceptional standards.
• Manage all deliveries, ensuring goods are received, checked, recorded and stored correctly in line with hotel procedures.
• Maintain accurate stock records, oversee stock rotation and monitor inventory levels to minimise waste and ensure product quality.
• Ensure all back of house areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation, food hygiene and health and safety.
• Coordinate waste management and recycling procedures, promoting sustainable practices and minimising unnecessary waste.
• Lead, motivate and support the back of house team, working closely with kitchen, food and beverage, purchasing and other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations.
• Monitor stock usage, maintain accurate documentation, identify opportunities to improve efficiency and ensure any delivery, maintenance or compliance issues are addressed promptly.
