RBH Hospitality Management is seeking a Back of House Manager for The Edinburgh Grand in Edinburgh. You will oversee day-to-day back of house operations, ensure efficient goods handling, accurate stock control and strict hygiene standards.

Join a premium hotel team, lead a shift, drive sustainability and collaborate with kitchen, F&B, purchasing and other departments to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in back of house, stock control or operational management in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Eye for detail with methodical stock control and record keeping.
• Good understanding of health and safety, food hygiene and waste management.
• Ability to lead, motivate and support a team and promote accountability.
• Strong communication skills and cross-department collaboration.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with focus on efficiency, sustainability and high standards.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day operation of all back of house areas; ensure goods receiving, storage and waste areas are organised and compliant.
• Manage deliveries; ensure goods are received, checked, recorded and stored correctly.
• Maintain accurate stock records; oversee rotation and monitor inventory to minimise waste.
• Ensure back of house areas meet hygiene, safety and cleanliness standards.
• Coordinate waste management and promote sustainable practices.
• Lead, motivate and support the back of house team across departments.
• Monitor stock usage; document activities and address issues promptly.
