RBH Hospitality Management Ltd seeks a Bar Manager at The Edinburgh Grand to lead the bar team, deliver exceptional guest experiences and manage day-to-day operations with a focus on service quality, stock control and revenue opportunities.

You will oversee a high-energy environment, train staff, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and maintain outstanding guest relations while contributing to the venue's vibrant beverage program.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a bar leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines and beverages.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Organisational skills with understanding of stock control, cost management and revenue generation.
• Attention to detail and high standards of service and presentation.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve guest concerns professionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead the bar team in delivering exceptional service and memorable drink experiences, ensuring every guest receives a warm and personalised welcome.
• Oversee day-to-day bar operations, ensuring smooth service and high standards.
• Motivate, coach and develop the bar team to foster a positive working environment.
• Oversee stock control, ordering and wastage to maximise revenue.
• Maintain bar presentation, cleanliness and compliance with health and safety and licensing requirements.
• Monitor guest feedback and service quality and address concerns with the wider food and beverage team.
• Manage rotas and daily operations to ensure preparedness for an outstanding guest experience.
