Job summary

DHL is seeking a procurement analyst to help identify cost-effective freight solutions for European transport. You will liaise with the DHL LLP carrier base and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive benchmarking and strategic re-plans.

The role requires strong data analysis skills, meticulous attention to detail, and proficient use of Excel and Microsoft Office. Prior exposure to European transport is desirable.

Qualifications

• Strong Excel skills with formulas, VLOOKUPs and XLOOKUPs.
• Good data analysis and numerical accuracy for procurement decisions.
• Exposure to European transport is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Identify reliable and cost-effective freight solutions for European transport contracts.
• Liaise with the DHL LLP carrier base and collaborate with related teams.
• Carry out ongoing carrier research to identify new carriers.
• Support EU procurement managers on strategic re-plans and benchmarking.
• Maintain team documents such as rate matrices and route profiles.

• Identifying and implementing the most reliable and cost effective freight solutions for the contract for their European transport activity.
• Liaise with the DHL LLP carrier base.
• Procurement analyst will collaborate closely with other DHL LLP teams.
• Carrying out on-going carrier research to identify potential new carriers.
• Providing support to EU procurement managers on strategic re-plans, contingency planning and benchmarking.
• Maintaining team's documents - rate matrix, route profiles, RAS's etc.
• Implementing all required day-to-day changes to collection network while taking into account cost/ service level /risk /customer's perspective. Identifying improvements to routes.
  Possess strong Excel skills, including experience with formulas, VLOOKUPs and XLOOKUPs
• Are proficient in Microsoft Office packages
• Have excellent attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities
• Are comfortable working with data and producing accurate results
• Ideally have exposure to European transport or experience working in a similar environment (desirable, not essential)
