Job summary

ASL, a market-leading engineering company in the Aylesbury region, is seeking a motivated Purchasing Administrator. A competitive salary of circa 33k-38k+ with company bonus and pension awaits the right candidate in a supportive, established team.

The role covers purchase order processing, supplier communication, price checks, imports/exports, and ensuring availability. The ideal candidate will have solid buying experience, CIPS qualifications (level 3 preferred), ERP/MRP/SAP systems knowledge,

Qualifications

• Must have solid buying/procurement experience.
• CIPS Level 3 or equivalent preferred.
• Strong systems experience with ERP/MRP/SAP.
• Knowledge of imports/exports, freight and customs is advantageous.
• Experience in supplier relationship management and negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Purchase Order processing – raise, manage and process orders.
• Buying, purchasing and price Checking; confirm availability.
• Invoice and GRPO support.
• Import/export documentation.
• Communicate with suppliers on quotations, progress and deliveries.
