Job summary

SUEZ is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee daily site operations, ensuring compliance with policies and Health & Safety regulations. You will optimize staffing and resources, contribute to service quality for clients, and support payroll and budgeting processes.

Role involves supervising and developing engaged teams, with training provided for plant equipment knowledge where needed. A proactive, safety‑minded candidate will thrive in our environment promoting environmental stewardship.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising and developing engaged teams to meet very high operational standards.
• IOSH Managing safely is required.
• Desirable - WAMITAB; knowledge of plant equipment is desirable but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily running of site operations and ensure full compliance with policies and Health & Safety legislation.
• Work with team to provide the best service to clients and customers; deploy staff and resources efficiently.
• Collate staff working hours for payroll monthly; maintain budgetary control over operations; order equipment and resources for the site.

Job description

What will I be doing?

Reporting to the Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the daily running of thesite operations ensuring full compliance on the site.

Ensuring theefficient deployment of staff and resources, this will mean you will need to:

• work closely with the other members of the team and contribute to ensuring we provide the best service to our clients and customers
• supervise personnel and fixed plant, monitoring quality and continually striving to implement process improvements
• collating working hours of staff for payroll on a monthly basis, maintain budgetary control over operations, order equipment and resource for the site.

Youwill also be responsible for ensuring activities of all employees comply with SUEZ’s policies & procedures and relevant Health & Safety legislation.

What are the requirements?

Youmust be able to demonstrate a passion for recycling coupled with strong communication skills andbe able to bringyour experience of supervising and developing engaged teams to meet very high operational standards. Additional experience includes:

• Essential - IOSH Managing safely
• Desirable - WAMITAB
• A broad knowledge of plant equipment is desirable, but not essential, as training is provided.
