Job summary

Diversey in the United Kingdom is seeking a Production Operative for the Processing area to join a fast-paced manufacturing team. You will mix chemicals, weigh ingredients, and monitor machinery for safe operation, with administrative tasks at shift end.

Rotational weekly shifts apply; basic SAP knowledge is helpful, and participation in process improvements is encouraged while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and knowledge of SAP.
• FLT license would be highly desirable but not essential.
• Experience in a Manufacturing or Production Industry – Packaging, Food, FMCG preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Willing to participate in process improvement projects and team activities.

Responsibilities

• Operate processing machinery at varying stages of the production line while maintaining safety and speed.
• Sort and weigh materials to meet requirements and avoid errors.
• Anticipate issues on the line and adjust to prevent slowdowns.
• Perform simple hourly maintenance on machines to ensure functionality and safety.
• Complete shift-end paperwork accurately and clearly.
• Support other operators to prevent fatigue and maintain efficiency.
• Report malfunctions or issues to supervision promptly.
