Job summary

Sensient Technologies Corporation is seeking a production operative to support the manufacture and processing of dyes, intermediates, and cosmetic products. The role involves operating processing plants and handling materials on a rotating shift pattern with day and night weeks.

You will wear many hats, including operating presses and vessels, maintaining equipment, and ensuring cleanliness. Strong time management and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths, English, general literacy and numeracy required.
• Experience in a chemical processing environment is desirable.
• Professional with a can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the manufacture and processing of Arianor Dyes, Intermediates, Cosmetic Products, Lakes and Azo Dyes.
• Operate processing plants, which may include presses, reaction vessels, ovens, guedo’s, program setting, moisture checking, de-traying, kibblers, mills and blenders.
• Operate mechanical handling devices.
• Assist in the movement of materials.
• Clean the working areas and equipment.
