Drnewitt is seeking a Process Technologist to join our growing food manufacturing operation in West Yorkshire. You will help take products from concept through to successful factory launch, collaborating with NPD, Technical and Operations teams to ensure quality, safety and efficiency.

You will lead trials, scale-up processes, and generate detailed trial reports while coordinating testing and validation activities across departments. A proactive, technically minded professional will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a Process Technologist or similar role in the food manufacturing industry.
• Good understanding of food safety, quality standards and factory processes.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across multiple departments.
• Confident using Microsoft Office.
• A proactive approach with a passion for delivering high-quality products.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and lead factory trials for new product launches.
• Scale products from kitchen concept through to full factory production.
• Produce detailed trial reports and product documentation.
• Work closely with Technical, Operations and Development teams to ensure successful product launches.
• Coordinate product testing, validations and quality assessments.
• Support first production runs and provide technical guidance to manufacturing teams.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes.
• Liaise with customers throughout the product development process where required.
