Job summary

Thames Water is hiring a Process Technician to join the Operations team at Abbey Mills, Stratford. You will help maintain and improve strategic pumping stations in North-East London and support on large-scale projects, with a focus on safe, efficient operation. This front-line role requires a full UK driving licence.

You’ll work 38 hours across Monday to Friday, with standby and overtime opportunities; robust training and safety focus are provided to develop skills within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine checks and basic maintenance.
• Monitor plant performance and identify trends.
• Complete health, safety and security checks and report hazards.
• Operate large storm pumping stations and mechanical equipment.
• Perform confined space entries for inspections and fault finding.
• Provide technical guidance to new starters and colleagues.
• Attend team meetings and safety briefings, provide constructive feedback.
