North American Construction Services, Ltd. is hiring a full-time Process Technician to join our team in Pinson/Birmingham, AL.

North American Construction Services (HQ: Pinson/Birmingham, AL) is a subsidiary of Fives North American Combustion and the Fives Group. We have over five decades of experience in engineering, fabrication, and construction in industrial thermal processes. Our services include designing furnaces, retrofits, upgrades, and full lifecycle maintenance of industrial equipment. We are committed to innovation and collaboration to address technological, environmental, social, and economic challenges.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Remove burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from workpieces using appropriate tools.
• Assist machine operators in setup and handling of finished workpieces.
• Measure workpiece dimensions to ensure accuracy.
• Perform minor maintenance on machines.
• May rivet and spot-weld workpieces.
• Tend machines that fabricate and assemble sheet metal products.
• Layout plates and structures using measuring tools.
• Operate hand torch, plasma cutter, and track burner.
• Operate overhead crane and jib hoist.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of related experience or equivalent education and training.
• Experience reading fabrication drawings and manuals.
• Previous experience in heavy manufacturing.
