Job summary

Eastman is seeking a production operator to support our manufacturing targets at our Newport site. The role requires operating production units with a strong emphasis on safety and quality, and a willingness to be trained as an integral team member.

You will monitor processes, troubleshoot deviations, and maintain high housekeeping standards while following established safety procedures and the company code of conduct. The position may involve participation in site-wide safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in chemical or similar production environment.
• Experience operating to high safety and quality standards.
• Willing to be trained and able to work as an integral member of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate production units to support business targets.
• Run and control the manufacturing process using state-of-the-art control systems (training provided).
• Follow established safety procedures.
• Monitor the process at all times for deviations.
• Troubleshooting.
• Housekeeping to a high standard.
• Follow the organisation's code of conduct for business and ethics.
• Engage in site-wide safety initiatives.
