INNOVA SEARCH in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Process Safety Manager to lead process safety across a major chemical manufacturing site in South Liverpool. You will own technical safety standards and drive improvements in governance and risk management.

Reporting to Engineering Director, you will balance strategic safety leadership with hands-on project involvement, mentor two specialist engineers and influence capital investment decisions to embed process safety across operations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with PSSR in industrial manufacturing.
• Proven ability to manage ATEX and DSEAR risks.
• Knowledge of COMAH major hazard management.
• Experience leading HAZID/HAZOP and risk assessments.
• Understanding of human factors in safety and human reliability.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead changes.

Responsabilités

• Lead development and governance of process safety standards across the site.
• Act as site responsible person for PSSR and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Provide technical leadership on ATEX/DSEAR and hazardous area management.
• Oversee COMAH-related major hazard identification and control.
• Lead HAZID/HAZOP and other process hazard assessments.
• Guide changes with MOC and ensure safety in modifications and projects.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations and HSE to embed safety in design.
