Clarke Energy is seeking a Process Safety Engineer to join our hybrid Liverpool team. You will provide specialist process safety engineering support across power generation, CHPs, biogas, hydrogen and energy storage projects, ensuring compliance with COMAH, ATEX and ISO standards.

Working with electrical, mechanical and project teams, you will lead hazard analyses (HAZOP/LOPA/FMEA), develop safety documentation and drive continuous safety improvements across the project lifecycle.

Qualificações

• Degree in Chemical, Process or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in process safety engineering within power/energy sectors.
• Experience leading HAZOP, LOPA and other formal assessments.

Responsabilidades

• Lead HAZOP, LOPA, FMEA and SIL safety reviews across projects.
• Ensure process safety requirements are integrated into designs.
• Develop safety documentation, risk assessments and safety cases.
• Support incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Maintain compliance with COMAH, ATEX and ISO standards.
• Deliver process safety training and promote safety culture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
