Job summary

AvantiGas is seeking an experienced Process Safety Engineer to champion process safety across our Seveso/COMAH sites in the UGI North Region. You will support the Process Technical Lead with licences and consents and lead innovation projects to reduce risk in high-hazard operations.

The role is based at Head Office in Staveley, Chesterfield with travel to sites and customers, including national and international travel as required.

Qualifications

• Experience with process safety standards and risk assessments across multiple sites.
• Proven ability to drive safety culture and deliver continuous improvement.
• Experience with Management of Change (MoC) procedures and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and publish our Process Safety standards and approaches.
• Carry out gap assessments and ensure compliance with Process Safety standards.
• Report and justify key Process Safety metrics and improvements.
• Roll out safety standards, training and competency assurance at all levels.
