Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced Major Hazards, Process Safety and Risk Consultant to join a busy team. You will manage projects across energy transition, oil & gas (onshore and offshore), chemical and major infrastructure sectors, delivering high‑quality safety deliverables and building strong client relationships.

Reporting to a senior team member, you will collaborate across the WSP community and mentor junior staff. Offices available in London, Bristol, North West or Newcastle upon Tyne.

Qualifications

• Experience managing major accident hazards onshore and offshore facilities.
• Desirable: energy transition projects experience.
• Based in London, Bristol, or Newcastle upon Tyne.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and lead high‑quality process safety projects for energy, oil & gas, chemical, and major infrastructure sectors.
• Apply expertise in major hazard management, risk assessment, COMAH safety reports, and offshore safety cases.
• Manage client relationships and win new work.
• Mentor junior team members and ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
