Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Major Hazards, Process Safety and Risk Consultant to join a busy team. You will work with external clients and internal WSP projects, applying your expertise to manage major hazards, perform risk assessments and contribute to safety case preparation across onshore and offshore facilities.

Reporting to a senior team member, you will help deliver high-quality projects, develop lasting client relationships, and support business growth while

Qualifications

• Experience managing major accident hazards onshore and/or offshore facilities.
• Desirable: experience in energy transition projects.
• Open to multiple offices including North West, Bristol, London or Newcastle upon Tyne.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and lead high-quality projects for clients across energy transition, oil & gas, chemical and major infrastructure sectors.
• Apply expertise in major hazard management, safety cases, risk assessment and COMAH reporting.
• Develop and manage client relationships and win new work.
• Produce high-quality deliverables on time and budget.
• Mentor junior team members and coordinate project activities.
