Job summary

Solenis is seeking a Process Safety Advisor for the Low Moor site in Bradford. You will provide expert process safety advice to operations and engineering teams, ensuring compliance with COMAH and UK process safety regulations.

You will lead hazard studies, PHAs, and LO-PA analyses, review safety performance, and advise on critical equipment and Human Factors, driving continuous improvements across the site.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Process Safety experience within chemical manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of COMAH and UK Process Safety regulations.
• Experience on upper-tier COMAH site is advantageous.
• Good communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert Process Safety advice across operational and engineering teams.
• Support COMAH compliance, regulatory inspections and engagement with the HSE.
• Lead and facilitate PHA, hazard studies and LOPA.
• Review Process Safety performance through audits, investigations and reporting.
• Advise on Safety Critical Equipment, Major Accident Hazards and Human Factors.
• Drive continuous improvement in Process Safety standards across the site.
