Job description

Process Quality Coordinator
Maternity Cover
Guildford
Salary: £32,00 to £34,000
Hybrid Working

Are you the kind of person who thrives on precision, loves a well-run process, and gets a buzz from seeing complex plans come together? Do you want to play a pivotal role in ensuring that 3.8 million students get the fair, consistent results they deserve?

Within AQA, we call this role a Standardisation Coordinator (but realised that nobody will search for that so changed the title for the advert)

At AQA, we don't just run exams-we shape futures. And we're looking for someone who can lead the charge in making sure our examiners and moderators are fully equipped to mark with confidence and consistency. You'll be the mastermind behind the scenes, orchestrating training and quality assurance that set the gold standard for assessment quality.

There are loads of company benefits, including a fantastic pension (up to 11.5% employer contributions), a 35 hour working week, 25 days annual leave with additional office closure in December and bank holidays on top, the opportunity to join lots of network groups (LGTBQ+, neurodiversity, disAbility, empowering women, wellbeing, ethnic minority and more) an extensive online learning platform, days for volunteering and more. AQA is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace where everyone-regardless of religion, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, age, disability, sexual orientation, or background-is valued, respected, and supported to thrive

You'll work with a passionate team collaborating with experts in logistics, assessment, and post-results. You'll be the go-to person for planning, innovation, and continuous improvement in a high-stakes, high-impact environment.

This isn't just another coordination role. You'll be:

Designing and delivering processes which will directly impact the integrity of national qualifications

Driving innovation in how we train and support our examiners.

Building relationships with senior associates and internal teams to deliver a best-in-class experience.

Embedding continuous improvement and using tech to make things smarter, faster, and better.

You'll need to be a natural planner, a confident communicator, and someone who can lead without needing a title to do it. If you've worked in regulated environments, managed complex projects, and know how to get the best out of people-this is your stage.

Ready to make your mark on the future of education? Apply now and help us deliver fairness, consistency, and trust to millions of learners.

Upload your most recent CV with a cover letter to explain how your skills and experience match the job description.

Interviews will be in the Guildford office in the week beginning 07 July 2025
