Job summary

Sika Schweiz AG (Group) in Preston is seeking a Process Manufacturing Operative to join our production team on a permanent basis. This hands-on role involves operating plant and equipment, following SOPs, completing process documentation, and upholding safety, quality and housekeeping standards.

You will weigh, load, mix and pack materials, perform routine quality checks, log results, and support line changeovers and shift handovers.

• Ability to work in a structured manufacturing environment.
• Strong adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality requirements.
• Willingness to learn and follow agreed processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate process manufacturing equipment safely and in line with site procedures.
• Follow SOPs, work instructions, risk assessments and quality requirements at all times.
• Accurately weigh, load, mix, process, pack, label or transfer materials as required by the production schedule.
• Carry out routine quality checks, visual inspections and basic testing, recording results clearly.
