O-I, a leading glass packaging producer, is seeking a Process Machine Operator in Alloa, Scotland. You will operate the hot end forming machines to produce hundreds of quality glass containers each minute and perform visual and gauging checks to ensure product integrity.
This physically demanding role requires safety focus, adherence to procedures, and the ability to work in rotating shifts. National 5 in Maths and English is required.

Our Process Machine Operators are our bottle creators and inspectors. Working in the hot end you will operate our glass forming machines, creating hundreds of quality, glass containers each minute of each day. This is a physical role and involves changing equipment on the machines, doing physical and visual gauging checks of the containers and addressing any forming issues that may cause defects. Working in hot conditions, you will require the ability to think logically and respect operating procedures. Safety is paramount in our environment so you will use the tools and systems provided to protect your own safety and that of your colleagues/work family. Within our continuous shift operation, our hot end operators work in challenging conditions to create products that delight our customers.
You will have National 5 in Maths and English (or equivalent).
A successful Process Machine Operator is someone who has a keen eye for mechanical systems and processes, whether that is through professional experience or personal hobbies.
