Job summary

Imerys is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join the UK Hub Quality team at Par Moor Centre in St Austell. You will provide testing support across routine methods, ensuring samples are processed correctly and results entered in the LIMS.

You’ll work closely with the Laboratory Supervisor to maintain high standards of quality, safety and environmental compliance and develop technical skills. The role is a Fixed Term Contract until June 2027 with a 74 shift pattern (2 weeks days followed by 2

Qualifications

• Experience working in a laboratory environment
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
• Ability to follow procedures precisely
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience with data entry and reporting in LIMS

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine laboratory tests and procedures under supervision.
• Support testing activities per approved methods.
• Enter samples and report results using LIMS.
• Ensure data is recorded accurately and timely.
• Follow standard lab procedures and maintain quality standards.
• Communicate findings to supervisor and team.
