Job summary

Croda is recruiting a Process Engineer to join the Rawcliffe Bridge site in the UK. You will work with a team of engineers to optimise plant operations and deliver capital projects, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance and efficient performance.

Ideal candidates have a chemical/process engineering background, experience with risk assessment, and familiarity with cGMP in a highly regulated environment. Strong CAD/Excel skills and a track record of leading change are essential.

Qualifications

• Safety mindset and regulatory awareness required.
• Chemical/process engineering degree or HNC airway preferred.
• Experience managing complex engineering projects from concept to commissioning.
• Experience in risk assessments and hazard studies.
• Familiarity with cGMP and pharmaceutical/cosmetic quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Work with process engineers to optimise site operations.
• Deliver projects to improve safety, operability and profitability.
• Define goals, milestones and deliverables with stakeholders.
• Prepare cost estimates and capital expenditure requests.
• Develop PFDs, P&IDs and URS during design stages.
• Own project budgets and report to site leadership.
• Attend safety review meetings and manage ALARP risks.
• Collaborate with third party designers/vendors to meet specs.
• Ensure compliance with delivery procedures and site change control.
• Provide input for root cause analysis and debottlenecking.
