Job summary

Blackfield Associates are recruiting for a Process Engineer to join a leading biopharmaceutical company at their Wrexham site. This is a full-time permanent role with a focus on overseeing an exciting new facility.

Core responsibilities include technical appraisals, GMP compliance, managing project work packages, collaborating with the project engineering team, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring safe start-up and shutdown practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Professional qualification with IChemE/IMechE/ISPE or similar preferred.
• Capital projects experience in GMP/regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Education:

1. Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
2. Professional qualification / association with IChemE, IMechE, ISPE, or similar is preferred.

Experience:

1. Capital projects experience equating to a competent understanding of each stage – an understanding of engineering design processes is fundamental.
2. An understanding of engineering best practices within a GMP (or otherwise regulated) environment.
3. A pharmaceutical background is most desirable.
