Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is helping a forward-thinking chemical/manufacturing business in Stevenston recruit a Process Engineer. You will design and develop safe processes to meet quality standards, cost targets and delivery requirements while acting as the technical expert driving continuous improvement across the plant.

The role reports to the Process Support Engineering Manager and requires a degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Chemistry or Mechanical with Lean Six Sigma knowledge;

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Manufacturing / Engineering / Chemistry / Mechanical.
• Understanding of engineering processes and Lean Six Sigma knowledge.
• NEBOSH qualification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop safe processes to meet quality standards and costs.
• Responsible for product manufacture and through-life support.
• Report to the Process Support Engineering Manager.

Stevenston, North Ayrshire - (Commutable from: Ayr, Troon, Kilmarnock, Irvine, Dairy, Stewarton, Dunlop, Beith, Glasgow)

In this role you will be considered as the go to technical expert within the department, driving change and identifying area's for improvement across the plant.
This role would suit a Process Engineer from a Chemical / Manufacturing background looking to play a key role in the continuous improvement of a growing business.

The Role

• Design and develop safe processes (new and existing) which will deliver products to the required quality standards and meet the business expectation in terms of cost to produce and in quantities delivered
• Responsible for products manufacture and through life support
• Reporting to the Process Support Engineering Manager

The Candidate

• Degree or equivalent in Manufacturing / Engineering / Chemistry / Mechanical
• Understanding of engineering processes
• Lean Six Sigma knowledge
